OX-OUT 526 RUST, SCALE AND SOIL REMOVER FOR CARBON STEEL AND IRON

No.526 is a clear liquid acid product with a slight solvent odor. Used to remove rust, scale, weld marks, light oil and shop soils from carbon steel and iron.

WHAT IT DOES:

OXOUT #526 removes rust, scale, weld marks, light oil and shop soils from carbon steel and iron. Treatment with OXOUT #526 produces a clean gray surface that is ready for oiling, painting or other finishing operations.

WHAT IT IS:

HOW TO USE IT:

OXOUT #526 can be used as is or diluted with up to 4 parts of water.

HAND APPLICATION:

Use sponge or brush and OXOUT #526, as received. Wet surfaces liberally and agitate to penetrate difficult areas. Rinse with clear cold water. Always wear rubber or neoprene acid proof gloves and goggles if the possibility of splashing exists.

TANK APPLICATION:

Use in polyethylene, PVC or stainless steel tanks lined with polyethylene or PVC. Use OXOUT #526 either straight or diluted at room temperature. For increased speed and detergency, the solution may be warmed up to 140º F. Immerse parts for from one to ten minutes. Remove at intervals to determine cleaning time. Rinse parts by immersing in clear, cold water. Blow dry if possible.

CAUTION:

Strong Acid Mixture...Personnel handling and using OX-OUT #526 should wear proper acid proof clothing and gloves. Eye protection is required. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. See Material Safety Data Sheet for detailed directions
