H-D No.55 HEAVY-DUTY ALKALINE CLEANER

H-D No.55 is a mixture of strongly alkaline soaps, buffers, wetting agents, and penetrants. Safe on iron, steel, copper, and stainless steel. Not safe on aluminum, galvanize, tin, and painted surfaces.

WHAT IT DOES:

H-D No.55 is a balanced, heavy-duty alkaline cleaner used for removing deposits of grease and carbonized fats from deep fat fryers, cookers, homogenizers, kettles, heat exchangers, and piping. Emulsifies carbonized corn and other vegetable oils. Rapid acting formulated to be free-rinsing.

HOW TO USE IT:

IN-PLACE CLEANING:
DEEP FAT FRYERS: ½ oz. to 2 oz. in water at 180 F.
COOKERS, KETTLES, HOMOGENIZERS, ETC.: ½ oz. to 4 oz. at 180 F to boiling. Always follow with a thorough rinse.

CAUTION:

STRONG ALKALINE POWDER - contains caustics. Causes burns. Do not swallow. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. For skin, flush thoroughly with water.
For eyes, flush thoroughly for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
