WHAT IT DOES:

D-Carb 297 is designed to remove carbon deposits from sheet pans, cookware, oven and stove parts and racks. D-Carb 297 dissolves the baked on carbon deposits without scraping, scrubbing or steel wooling. Safe on stainless, steel, aluminum, galvanized and plastic. Will not harm coatings on sheet pans, bread or roll pans etc.

WHAT IT IS:

A white, free flowing granular powder made up of alkaline cleaning compounds, wetting agents, inhibitors and suspending agents. Not safe on painted surfaces, magnesium or zinc.

HOW TO USE IT:

SOAK TANK: Use plastic drum or metal tank. Make up solution with warm water using 8 pounds in 25 to 30 gallons of water. Immerse carbonized pots, pans, sheets pans, racks and stove parts in solution at room temperature. Allow to soak, preferably overnight. Thoroughly rinse, with light brushing where needed

SPRAY WASHER: Use 1 to 4 ounces of D-Carb 297 per gallon. Temperature should be 140ºF to 170ºF. Always follow with spray rinse using clean water.

MANUAL CLEANING: Use 1/4 to 1 ounce of D-Carb 297 per gallon of warm water (110ºF to 130ºF). Apply with sponge, brush, hand spray, etc. Follow with clean water rinse.

Note: D-Carb 297 can be used in ALL departments in food plants.

CAUTION:

Alkaline powder - Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin. For skin contact, flush with water. For eye contact, flush with clean water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. See Material Safety Data Sheet for hazard warnings.
