OX-OUT #565 SCALE AND OXIDE REMOVER

OX-OUT #565 removes welding, soldering, heat-treating and annealing oxides, scale, stain and temper colors, quickly and efficiently, without the use of abrasive compounds, sanding or grinding.

SCALE AND OXIDE REMOVER FOR 300 SERIES STAINLESS STEEL, INCONEL, MONEL, IVAR, NICKEL AND NICKEL ALLOYS.

WHAT IT DOES:
Ox-OUT #565 removes welding, soldering, heat-treating and annealing oxides, scale, stain and temper colors, quickly and efficiently, without the use of abrasive compounds, sanding or grinding. SPECIALLY FORMULATED FOR SPRAYING, IMMERSION AND RECYCLING OF SOLUTION.

WHAT IT IS:
A colorless liquid acid having no flash point. Available in 15 and 55 gallon, non-returnable polythylene containers, which may be used as immersion tanks by cutting off the top.

HOW TO USE IT:
Precleaning - Remove oil, grease and shop oil from parts to be descaled with detergent, alkaline cleaner or solvent.

Immersion tank - Use #565 as supplied, Immerse parts until oxides are removed or totally softened. (determine time by test - usually 1 - 30 minutes). Remove from bath and rinse with water, brush with tampico or platers brush on soft deposits if needed.

Spray operations - Use only in enclosed equipment designed for this purpose. Use care to have a uniform spray to avoid streaking. Rinse with clean water.

Temperature - OX-OUT #565 may be used at room temperature to 160°F. Parts warm from processing may be dipped to speed operation.

Equipment - All equipment, tanks, fittings, pumps etc., should be of acid proof construction. P.V.C., Polyolefin or stainless Steel lined with rubber, P.V.C. or polyolefin.

CAUTION
OX-OUT #565 is strongly acidic. Avoid contact with skin or personal clothing. If skin is contacted, flush with water and neutralize with soap or bicarbonate solution. For eye contact, flush with copious amounts of water - seek medical attention. Allways wear proper protective clothing. SEE MSDS FOR FULL CAUTION.
